You want to try using squash in a different way...THIS IS IT!!


You heard me talk about joumou pesto in my culinary segment on Pénélope Radio Canada ICI première radio show last month. Now you have the play by play how to make it at home. Make it, tag me on it. I would love to see your creations 🤩


Ingredients


1 cup squash cooked and cut into pieces

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup pistachios

1 cup fresh basil

4 garlic

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 small jalapeño

1/2 cup olive oil (more if mixture too thick)


Instructions


Put all the ingredients in the blender and slowly drizzle the olive oil while blending. If too thick drizzle some more.


Serve on an avocado toast, pasta or pizza.


Enjoy!
